Customer 1:  Product modeler for month-long SAP CRM Service proof of concept that showed the business value of integrating product configuration and pricing with service contracts.  Designed and created configurable product models in R/3, transferred to CRM / IPC.  Proposed solutions to complex, service-related change order processing.

Customer 2: Served as liaison to SAP’s SCE development team, supplying advice on SCE in a Web scenario.  Re-designed and re-implemented an automated extract from R/3 to the SCE (in ABAP and Visual Basic).

Customer 3: Supplied SAP product configuration design, development and modeling for global computer manufacturer. 

Key Accomplishments:

• Constructed an innovative, Web-based visualizer of complex rack-mounted server configurations using Visio and SAP IPC’s “advanced mode”, including multiple types of cabling and slotting. 

• Built a quotation export module from IPC configurations and co-designed Web services.

Customer 4: Team Lead / IT Architect, Worldwide IT Config & Quote

Leading a worldwide (US, France, India) team focusing on development of industry-leading e-commerce product configuration capabilities in support of volume direct sales. Responsible for data authoring, testing and core model design architecture. 

 Team Lead / IT Architect, SAP IPC Advanced Investigation

In charge of a strategic research project to evaluate high-end configuration capabilities of SAP IPC. Brought together the development team, managed project in 3 phases, with a budget in excess of 2M$. 

Project Mgr / IT Architect,  Merger integration team. Responsible for the new IPC product model integration plan and architecture. Developed plan & architecture, secured cross-company approval and launched execution on day one. 

IT Architect, Business Store IPC implementation - Lead the team that developed the first production IPC advanced mode model in the computer server industry. This was accomplished with exceptional quality and resulted in significant biz results ($450,000 incremental revenue in the first month after go-live).

Manufacturing Systems Engineer, EZConfig IPC implementation - Product model lead for the first HP commercial IPC implementation – internal web-based big deal management and bundle creation tool with margin analysis capabilities. Integrated requirements, co-lead design and development of the product model. Trained and launched knowledge engineering teams in France (desktop products) and in the US (notebooks).

Manufacturing Systems Engineer, Network server division - Involvement in product data management of two subsequent R/3 implementation projects.  Full ownership for development, ongoing design & support of a mission-critical build to customer order assembly instructions configurator/generator used in production of complex Intel based HP servers worldwide.
