"Avenue Compare" exports and gathers configurable product data from SAP, translates each product model into XML and makes it available for comparison with the same product model that you have on a different SAP instance.  

Now you can determine if these models are the same or how they differ [from the last model change].

eSpline has a portal where you the SAP customer can download your product model and compare those two models side by side to determine if they are the same.  It can be used to evaluate changes in this week's modeling effort.  What was added? What changed?  What was deleted or moved?
